Class Descriptions
Chair Yoga - for strength, calm and brain health
In this welcoming class, Tracey blends gentle, accessible yoga and Qi Gong to support physical strength, mobility, and mental clarity. Movements can be done seated or using a chair for support, making this practice suitable for all levels and abilities. You’ll explore mindful breathing, simple postures, and flowing sequences that nurture balance in both body and mind. Each session includes elements shown to support brain health—mindful movement, focused breathing, and relaxation—all of which help reduce stress, boost mood, and enhance cognitive vitality. You’ll also receive short, easy home practices (5–10 minutes) to help you integrate movement and mindfulness into your daily routine.
No age or experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to move, breathe, and feel better.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga class for the yin (Winter) time of the year. Find suppleness and calm in this class. We will explore functional movement principles, honouring the inherent skeletal variations in your unique body. We'll move slowly and mindfully into carefully curated shapes targeting deep connective tissues in our bodies. Emphasis is on finding your appropriate edge in each pose, respecting individual bone structure and range of motion. Modifications and variations will be offered throughout, encouraging you to prioritize sensation over shape and discover sustainable, long-term joint... and brain health. This class suits all levels, including those with limited mobility or previous injuries.
Yang Yoga
In this class, Tracey blends dynamic, muscular yoga with qi gong. Lots of different expressions of shapes and flows to help build strength and confidence. This practice will leave you feeling like you've had a workout. Expect to feel stronger and rejuvenated! Suitable for most. Some yoga experience is helpful.
Yin Yang Yoga
A practice that blends the two approaches above, yin yoga for flexibility, yang (hatha) yoga for strength, plus breathing, deep relaxation and meditation practices. Suitable for most.

Tracey is trained in "variable anatomy"
This means that Tracey fully acknowledges that we are all unique, with different body types, skeletal structures, traumas, biology and biography. Tracey celebrates your uniqueness by offering various expressions of postures and shapes in all her classes. The postures you make with your body should look different to Tracey's and your neighbours - you are unique. It's not how you look, it's what you feel that is important.
Contact Tracey if you have any questions.
Students new to Tracey are required to complete a health information form and waiver. You can
